Mt. Baker Leadership Camp

Mt. Baker exists to explore leadership through example, experience, and opportunity based on the principles of knowledge, courage, and compassion.

“A leader is not necessarily one who does the greatest things but one who lets the people do the greatest things.” [This quote] took me back to Baker... In ASB, it often seems like we have so much responsibility to uphold greatness, but when we give others the chance to shine and be great, we make the school an open, welcoming environment... [I]t is our sole responsibility to help [others] find their greatness.
— delegate Savanah Johnson, Sedro-Woolley HS

Where knowledge meets compassion

The Mt. Baker Leadership Camp focuses on team leadership, spending time in school groups to create a team, develop goals/standards, and create programs to meet the needs of your school.

Mt. Baker is designed to serve student leaders whether they are elected or not. We strive to build the student leadership teams that come to camp and instill a growth mindset in all of our delegates to be able to see the influence they can have in their schools.
