Energizing and equipping students and advisers for a successful year

Our first AWSL Fall Leadership Conference (formerly called the WASC Conference) was hosted in 1980 at Lindbergh High School in Renton. Since then, the AWSL Fall Conference has grown to serve around a thousand students annually from across the state.

Each year the in-person conferences are hosted by two different high schools in the state (one in Western Washington, and one in Eastern Washington). The conference will feature dynamic keynote speakers, breakouts, and learning opportunities for high school students and adults.

We invite ALL high schools to join us for a dynamic conference that will bring together different school teams for a day of learning, networking, and fun so that each school is inspired to return to their homes and communities to make significant differences in the lives of their schools and communities.

Student participants in this conference will:

Gain skills and ideas to bring back to their school by attending small group workshops
2024 keynote speakers - Will be announced soon!
Interact and network with schools, and students.
Learn, connect, and grow in a dynamic conference experience.

Cost:

$40 per person (adults/students) for AWSL member schools. $50 per person (adults/students) for AWSL non-member schools
Registration closes for the Western Washington conference on Monday, October 21st.
Registration closes for the Eastern Washington conference on Monday, October 28th.
Cancellations must be made two-weeks prior to event for full refunds.

Notes:

Lunch will be provided at the conference.
No limit on how many students you can bring.
AWSL will not be providing transportation.
Student drivers are not allowed.
