AWSL Student Voice Summits

TURN UP THE VOLUME ON STUDENT VOICE

AWSL’s Student Voice Summits bring students together to create community, build culture, elevate school climate, and solve problems together. The summit is facilitated by AWSL staff.

The program focuses on three components.

  • WHO: Who are we? Building community and relationships.

  • WHAT: What is going well in our school? What needs to be addressed?

  • NOW WHAT?: Building strategies and plans together.

Program goals:

  • Schools invite a diverse population of students together

  • Students build, develop, and create a student-led action plan

  • Students work within the AWSP Leadership Framework to build connection and collaborations with principals and assistant principals.

Program Notes:

  • Program is a three-hour program (with opportunities for follow-up).

  • Libraries provide great settings and environments for these summits.

  • The school selecting a diverse selection of students is ideal.

Cost:

  • $1000
