What is included in my purchase?

• Assembly implementation guide

• School-wide discussion and family engagement questions

• Keynote speech (will be sent in a downloadable digital format)

• Access to James Layman throughout the process of putting your assembly together. Any questions, support, guidance, or anything you may want or need, James will be available to you!

How long is the keynote speech?

• Elementary school speech runs around 8 minutes

• Secondary school speech runs around 15 minutes

How will everything be delivered to schools?

• Everything will be sent digitally. The speech will be able to be downloaded in a digital format for you to use.

What is the focus of the speech?

• The elementary school focuses on elements of using MLK’s vision for kindness and respect can be utilized by our Elementary students. Quotes from MLK are woven into a call to action for students to understand choices, listening, the impact of our words and actions, and using magic words to create a more inclusive school and world.

• The secondary school speech focuses on transformative love, the components of the King Center’s BE LOVE discussions, several MLK quotes and speech excerpts along with personal stories from James. This presentation serves as a call to action for students to look out for each other, belonging, hope, and seeing the humanity in others.
